While we are pretty knowledgeable about contact lenses and will be happy to share information about them, at the end of the day we are just online sellers, and it is impossible for us to give you a physical examination to test which contact lenses are suitable for your eyes.
Contact lenses are a medical device, and as such, we really recommend you consult an eyecare professional about what brands are suitable for you. Once you are armed with that information, come on in and shop with us!
Generally, daily disposables are the most popular choices. They are easy to care for as you toss them out every day, and are also great for glasses-wearers who just want to wear a pair occasionally, such as to a date or during sports. Daily contact lenses greatly reduce the risk of damage to your eyes from incorrect care.
Longer wear lenses offer some cost-savings compared to dailies, and give you the advantage of being able to take them in and out throughout the day, e.g. when you want to take them off when working.
The biggest downside is that they need the utmost care every time you wear them, which can be a chore when you come home after a long day's work. You also have to be diligent in making sure you change them on time. If you are prone to losing lenses, monthly lenses also tend to be very expensive to lose.
Not too troublesome now, really. Contact lenses have progressed so much over the years, most contact lenses are comfortable enough for you to wear them throughout the day without needing to worry about them.
The troublesome part will be cleaning. Your eyes are a very sensitive organ, so it does not matter how tired, sick or drunk you are, you must take them out and clean them really well before storage. One time of not cleaning properly is enough to have deposits damaging your eyes. This takes some discipline!
Thankfully, there are daily disposable lenses for lazy people like us. Just throw them away at the end of the day, and you'll always have a fresh new pair in the morning.
Keeping contacts clean is really very simple!
1. Wash your hands with soap and water thoroughly. Dry them thoroughly.
2. Make a habit of always starting with the same eye. That way you will not mess up prescriptions!
3. Fill your contact lens case with fresh solution.
4. Take out your contact lens and place it in the palm of your hand.
5. Put a small amount of cleaning solution, and rub back and forth gently with your index finger.
6. Rinse off with extra solution, and place the contact lens back in it's case.
7. Remember, the only liquid that touches your contact lens must be contact lens solution. Not even distilled water or even worse, tap water. We explain more about why here.
We do not require you to submit a prescription to place an order. You can choose to enter your details yourself, or just send us a photo of your current contact lens box, blister pack or prescription and we will fill it in for you. We aim to make life easy for you!
Nevertheless, we absolutely recommend getting your eyes checked by an eyecare professional before making a purchase.
Your eyecare professional will be able to recommend brands and types of lenses suitable for your eyes, which will ensure comfort and safety. Never skimp on this step!
In most countries, opticians are bound by law to give you a copy of your prescription after getting an eye check, so don't be afraid to ask for it without making a purchase.

Contact lenses are quite unlike regular products. There are many different prescriptions, some of which are required to be custom-made, and all of them have an expiry date which means they cannot be stocked in large amounts. The pandemic has also drastically changed the way contact lenses are supplied, and even in 2022 we are feeling the effects.

For most orders, we will be happy to cancel them and restock the lenses at no additional cost. But for custom orders, do note that we will not be able to accept cancellations once the order has been placed with the manufacturer.
If your order has already been sent, we will still be happy to accept returns if the boxes are unopened/undamaged, but you will have to pay for your own shipping.
Yes we do!
Just select Hitpay as you are checking out and there will be an option to pay via credit card. All our credit card transactions are processed by Stripe and none of your information is stored on our site, so your details are 100% secure.
Our payment processor Hitpay accepts all major credit cards, PayNow, GrabPay, ShopeePay and Alipay.
We also offer bank transfer and PromptPay options, so talk to us!
We transact all our payments in Singapore dollars (SG$).
But of course you can pay in any currency you wish to, and Stripe will convert them at very reasonable rates.
Most of our business expenses are in SG$ as our head office is based there, this means that by taking in all orders in SG$, we are able to save on currency conversion, which we use to lower our prices so everyone benefits regardless of what country you are from!
Yes we still do! We do not do automatic deductions anymore. This is because very often people still have lenses left over, and would like to order a bit later. They can contact us to delay their schedule, but it is very troublesome. A subscription is supposed to make life easy!
What we do now instead is send you a payment link every 3-12 months, depending on your choosing. Just pay whenever you feel like it, and your order will be processed. It's that easy!

We do not charge any extra taxes, handling fees or whatnot. What you see is what you pay, simple!
That said, Contacts Asia is not responsible for any custom duties/taxes that may be imposed by your country.
Should your country also require declarations or prescriptions or any other form of processes required for the release of your shipment, please also note that we cannot be responsible for them.
We have experience in most countries and will be glad to give your advice and help you along, but ultimately we will not provide reimbursement or refunds of any kind should you incur additional charges placed by your country.

We are working hard towards providing this service to all of you around the world, but for now, if your country is not within this list, shipping is still a very affordable $10, regardless of weight.

Standard shipping times range from 7-14 business days excluding weekends and public holidays.
Express shipping times usually range from 3-5 business days excluding weekends and public holidays for major cities.

A tracking number will be provided to you once your order has been shipped and is on it's way to you. If you had not received a tracking number, it means your order is still in processing, and if you are worried feel free to talk to us anytime to check on the status of your order!
We have a few warehouses and processing centres around Asia, including Hong Kong and Taiwan.
It's all quite messy and where we ship from mostly depends on availability, but don't worry, it will get to you!
Shipping time cannot be guaranteed in the case of adverse events at the Contacts Asia warehouse or at any of our shipping carriers, including but not limited to pandemics, snowstorms, earthquakes, hurricanes, volcanic eruptions or Thanos attacking Earth.
Should you not be at home to receive your package, your shipping carrier will usually leave a note for you to collect it or arrange a redelivery. If an extended time passes before you do so, the package may be returned to us, and we will happily resend it to you, but please note that you might be liable for shipping charges.
Should your package be lost, we will contact the post office on your behalf to find the status of your package, and if the post office gives us a reply that the package is indeed lost, we will refund your payment or resend your order.
Please note that we can only refund orders when the post office has confirmed the loss. Some post offices are notoriously slow to reply, so you might need to contact them yourselves as local contact will usually be much faster.

Cancellation due to shipping times
We send all of our parcels via the post office, and that is how we can keep shipping free for you guys. Sometimes parcels get delayed and it really is out of our control, but should you still require a refund, please note that we can only refund your order when shipping times have exceeded 1 month.
Cancellation due to damaged, missing or incorrect items
Any damaged, missing or incorrect items must be reported to us within 14 days of delivery of your package. Once the package has been sent back to us, we will resend the correct items bearing all the shipping and processing costs.
Cancellation due to ordering wrongly or change of mind/prescription
Should you have ordered your items wrongly or have a change of mind, returns and exchanges are accepted on a case-by-case basis. Please do note that you will be liable for any shipping costs.
Refunds terms and conditions
In addition to the terms above, please also note that refunds are not possible for astigmatism, presbyopia, hyperopia and multifocal lenses unless any of the waiting times stated above have been exceeded.
For parcels that have already been shipped out, we can only process the refund after the parcel has arrived back at our warehouse, or if the delivery company has declared the parcel lost/missing.
